Darrell Armstrong, would like to invite you to the 2024 Basketball Shooting Camps being held at the Central Florida Christian Academy. Darrell and Leonard Williams, along with some of his friends in the NBA will be a part of this great week of shooting, passing and defense drills to help you sharpen your game. The coaches that come to help Darrell in these camps are some of the most knowledgeable coaches in the Orlando area and want to share what they know with your children.
The Darrell Armstrong Foundation for Premature Babies, Inc. is excited to provide underprivileged families in the Eatonville, Parramore, Pine Hills and Washington Shores communities with a Thanksgiving dinner complete with a turkey and all the fixings; but this cannot be done without your assistance. In order to feed a family of four (4) the cost is approximately $40 per family and we are requesting your donation(s) to make this possible.
This is the major fundraising event for Darrell's Foundation for Premature Babies. Darrell, along with the sponsorship help of his corporate partners and his celebrity guests, all contribute to make this event one of Orlando's premiere weekend events
Prior to 1995 few people in Orlando knew the name of Darrell Armstrong. However, all that changed when one of basketball's most ambitious players received an opportunity and signed with the Orlando Magic for the reminder of the '94-'95 season. From his first season with the Magic, Darrell has gained a strong base of fan support. It just goes to show that sports fans love and appreciate people with heart and hustle. "You have to play from the heart," he frequently tells people and. "you must have fun." It was during the abbreviated 1999 NBA season that Darrell's fan club was propelled to national notoriety. Darrell Armstrong was already a household name in the Orlando market, but it was time to share the secret. His popularity boomed at the end of that season with the following prestigious awards:

•Nominations For The Florida Sports Man Of The Year Award
Anyone who knows Darrell will tell you that he is totally committed to his fans. He was often seen staying late after games to sign autographs. He loves his fans and his fans return that love. After leaving Orlando in the summer of 2003 as a free agent, Darrell played with the New Orleans Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers and the New Jersey Nets. Currently Darrell is an assistant coach with the Dallas Mavericks, However, Darrell still has a strong fan base in Central Florida. He returns each summer to hold his basketball camps and fundraisers for his Foundation for Premature Babies. Darrell's autographed memorabilia are always available.
Darrell is a loving father, a generous philanthropist, and a down-to-earth person who appreciates all of his fans. This website is dedicated to helping Darrell stay in touch with his fans.

Darrell Armstrong was inducted in to the Orlando Magic Hall Of Fame. This was a great honor for Darrell who was with the Magic 1994 - 2003 and was the leader of the Heart and Hustle team from 1999-2000, He was a great team mate and a leader in the locker room and on the floor. We here at the Darrell Armstrong Foundation are so proud to be apart of his life and accomplishments and will continue to work with him to help the Orlando Florida community.
