Tattooed on the arms of Darrell Armstrong are the names of his wife, daughters, and son. Darrell is a devoted family man. He is totally committed to God and his family. Darrell always finds time for his family during the basketball season and the off-season. He enjoyes spending time with his family engaging in activities such as bowling, camping and watching movies

As a kid, when asked who was his athletic hero, he would tell you it was "Mark Moseley" an all-pro field goal kicker for Washington Redskins. Today he will tell you of his true hero "Jesus Christ". Darrell Armstrong is always quick to tell of his Christian Faith and thanking God for all his achievements and successes on and off the court.
